Henry Boom, MD, Vice Chair of Research, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Tuberculosis Research Unit, is working to tackle the easily transmissible, and often deadly, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). He received a grant for more than $750,000 from the NIH, with the potential to receive up to $2.8 million over the next four years.
