After this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the scope of the problem, contributors, consequences and prevention of physician burnout
  • Summarize the state of research, education and academic strategic plan at UHHS
  • Describe current blood pressure targets and guidelines for the management of hypertension
  • Identify epidemiology, UHHS initiatives, limitations and management of C. difficile infection
  • Describe the overview of MACRA and implementation to physician quality documentation
  • Outline current health care transition activities, improvements and implementations
Practice Gap: Identify a UH system approach to the identified learning objectives to increase awareness of physician burnout, academic mission in an integrated health system, implication and current management of hypertension, challenges of treatment ana management of C. difficile, implementation of physician quality documentation, and application of health care transition process.
